Hi! My name is Anna. I’m a Student at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg/ Animationsinstitut and a freelance illustrator and animator with a deep love for stop motion and visual storytelling.

My style lives somewhere between playful pictures-book charm and thoughtfully crafted design. I love drawing characters and scenes that tell little stories, with personality, emotion, and a touch of whimsy.

When it comes to animation, stop motion is where I feel most at home. I’m drawn to the handmade aestetic and to that magical moment when a lifeless object suddenly comes to life. It takes patience, sure, but it’s always woth it.

Before film school, I trained as a media designer for audiovisual production, working mostly in motion design and graphics - creating explainer videos, animated intros, and small visual stories.

Now I bring all of that together: illustration, animation and design to turn ideas into images, and images into stories.

Hi! Ich bin Anna, Studentin an der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, dessen Animationsinstitut und freiberufliche Illustratorin und Animatorin mit einer großen Liebe für Stop Motion und visuellem Storytelling.

Mein Stil bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen verspieltem Kinderbuchcharme und liebevoll komponierter Gestaltung. Am liebsten zeichne ich Figuren und Szenen, die kleine Geschichten erzählen, mit Charakter und Gefühl.

In der Animation schlägt mein Herz besonders für Stop-Motion. Ich liebe diesen handgemachten Look und das magische Gefühl, wenn aus einem leblosen Objekt auf einmal ein lebendiger Charakter wird. Auch wenn es manchmal knifflig und zeitintensiv ist: Es lohnt sich immer.

Vor meinem Studium habe ich eine Ausbildung zur Mediengestalterin Bild und Ton abgeschlossen und im Bereich Motion Design und Grafik gearbeitet - unter anderem an Erklärvideos, animierten Einspielern und kleinen Grafikanimationen.

Heute kombiniere ich all das: Illustration, Animation und Design, um Ideen sichtbar zu machen und Geschichten zum Leben zu erwecken.
